Birmingham Mail Hyperlocal Community Sites

Birminghammail.net has recently launched 34 brand new ‘hyperlocal’ community sites, which serve visitors with excellent local multimedia news and information. They aim to bring the Birmingham Mail brand and it’s advertisers, closer to the growing hyperlocal sector in the city.

All suburbs within Birmingham and Solihull will have their own dedicated site, as well as areas further afield; Cannock, Tamworth & Lichfield. This provides a fantastic opportunity for businesses to connect with the community by sponsoring an area or by placing adverts on site.

Local blogs are also linked into the pages, allowing them to promote their area and allowing birminghammail.net viewers to read their news.

A press release on Monday 16th August 2010 promoted the launch, as well as a high profile 2 page spread in the popular ‘It’s Yours’ supplement in the Birmingham Mail.
