Oldbury

Oldbury is a town in the borough of Sandwell, with a population of over 10,000, it is a part of the Black Country. Traditionally Oldbury was an important industrial town with good canal transport links. Today, Oldbury’s central square retains traditional shops in Birmingham Street, including the first branch of Lloyd's Bank, but also exhibits the towns modernisation with the contemporary council house and new retail park.
