Unique Users
A record of how many people visit a
website (based on the users IP address). Commonly used to measure the
popularity of a website over a standard period of time, typically a
month.
Page Impressions
The number of pages
that have been viewed on a website over a given period, usually a month.
Advertisers can choose the number of page impressions they wish their
advert to receive.
CPI / CPM (cost per thousand impressions)
The cost to an advertiser for receiving 1000 page impressions for their advert.
CPC (cost per click)
The
cost to an advertiser for each click through they receive to their
website, from their digital advertising. (An alternative system for
pricing digital advertising to CPM).
